Saudi-Malaysia Investment Talks Ignite Momentum for Vision 2030 Goals

Riyadh: Saudi Arabia hosted an important meeting between Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Alkhorayef and Malaysian Minister of Investment, Trade, and Industry Tengku Datuk at Riyadh. 

The two ministers discussed ways to strengthen economic ties and explore new opportunities for cooperation in the industrial sector.

The meeting focused on encouraging joint investments between Saudi Arabia and Malaysia, highlighting the incentives and support available to investors in the Kingdom. 

They also reviewed the valuable investment opportunities currently offered across different sectors, aiming to make the investor journey easier and more appealing.

The discussion included the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to diversify the Kingdom’s economy beyond oil. 

The ministers talked about the National Industrial Strategy, which supports local manufacturing, increases local content, and promotes the growth of important industries that the Kingdom is working to develop and localize.

Saudi Arabia also presented its many advantages as a global investment hub including its central location connecting Asia, Europe, and Africa, its rich natural resources, competitive energy costs, modern infrastructure, and streamlined government procedures designed to attract investors.
